About Me

After a life full of health issues, and learning to navigate bullying and harassment at school, I had built up enough stress I wore out my adrenal glands, and needed to learn how to heal myself with massive amounts of self-care and radical forgiveness. I learned how living from a place of self-care, nourishing my soul, and knowing how I wanted to feel was integral to my health and well-being. And if it was integral for me, it was the same for others.

Now as a Soul Nourishment Coach, I work with women to nourish their souls and live from a place of self-care. With the use of Emotional Freedom Technique, meditation, Reiki, chakra balancing, nutrition, and various other modalities we create their own unique path to wellness.

Each and every one of us is different, so our journeys may not be the same, even though we can walk the path together.

Q: What are your Core Desired Feelings?

My Core Desired Feelings are Inspired, Expansive, Bliss.

Q: How / where did you Desire Map? What did you love about doing it that way?

Towards the end of the year before I sit down to do a vision board for the year ahead I set time aside to find out what I want to feel.

When I sit down with my Desire Map Workbook I make sure I have turned off all distractions, have spent some time meditating and getting connected to both my higher power but also my inner power.

Going within while staying connected to my source really puts me in a position to better hear not only what I want for myself but what the Universe wants from me as well.

Sometimes what I want to feel just makes itself known, other times it takes a bit of getting out of my own way and tuning in.

Q: Tell me a specific story about how knowing your CDFs has changed your life.

As someone who deals with chronic pain and illness, I found that the traditional way of goal setting was just not working for me. I was striving for "things" and feeling down when I wasn't able to reach my goal.

There have been a couple times in my life where I have been stuck in bed, so actively rushing and pushing to get what I wanted was just not going to work. In 2015-2016 I found myself back there, in bed, wanting to do so much. But having and knowing my CDFs I was able to keep them in mind and make even small decisions based on how I wanted to feel.

It made taking the time to heal easier because if I felt Golden or Aligned (two of my CDFs for 2016), I was on the right path. And when I was stuck in bed, sometimes feeling aligned meant feeling fully and completely in touch and aligned with my body's need for rest

Q: Why are you passionate about sharing this work with others?

So many people I know get discouraged when, after setting their goal or goals life happens and they don't get to where they want to get. Or they get discouraged because they don't feel the way they want to feel. So they set another goal and the process starts all over again. Or they get completely deflated and just don't set goals anymore.

I want people to want what they want, and I want so much more for them then they want for themselves.

The Desire Map process turns goal setting inside out, and focuses less on the external things we may reach for, and instead focuses on how we want to feel. Once we know what we want to feel, we can determine better what we want to do to get there.

This workshop, inspired by the best seller The Desire Map by Danielle LaPorte, is a soul-heart-body experience that helps you feel good. Every day. It begins with getting clear on what you already have in your life, reflecting on the previous year, what you want to leave behind, and what you want to bring into the future with you.

You'll get clear on the root of your desire and create a map of how you desire to feel in five areas of your life. From that place of clarity, you'll be guided to discover and declare your core desired feelings, all while being supported in a sacred, loving environment of other soul-seekers. This is the new, holistic way to plan your New Year's Resolutions.

Every activity and exercise supports you in discovering your core desired feelings, because something magical happens when you focus on how you want to feel:

- You remember your light, your true nature, your source ? the life source that connects us all.

- You use your preferred feelings as a guidance system for making choices and for being more present and alive.

- You are able to access comfort and clarity during painful times.

- You accentuate the positive aspects of your life, while still honoring, and not invalidating, the negative parts that you want to change.

Knowing how you want to feel is one of the most important forms of clarity you can have. You'll feel the way you want to feel more often than not. Decisions will be easier to make. You'll know when to say "No, thank-you" and "Hell, yes!" You'll be more optimistic, more openhearted. Your life will ease up on the grinding and and fill up with more...ease. 2018 is yours.
