Burning the old, New Desire & Plenty of gifts: December Roundup

This month included burning my old site and birthing a new one, the debut of The Desire Map by popping champagne with 13,300+ people, and leaving lame ideas to make way for a bigger, brighter 2013. Lots.

My new website! Tra-La! With surprises and all the white space I dearly love. You’ve gotta burn stuff to make room for even truer truth.

Why I gave up chasing goals. Intentions & goals are tools for liberation. But when we use goal-chasing like a hammer, it can beat up on our self-esteem, relationships, and creativity.

TODAY! Launch! Desire! Now! I’m closer to my life than ever before. I hope you’ll say the same thing when you’ve mapped your own desires.

Goals With Soul Video for you … and other pretty things. You will never arrive. You will never get where you think you’re going because Life will always take you in a direction you couldn’t have imagined.

Cosmic Radio: an audio contemplation for total encouragement. This is a sonic love letter from your fellow earthlings.

Extreme visualization for loosening your mind shackles. When you visualize impossibilities, you make way for plausible awesomeness to enter your thinking.

Excellence, mediocrity, and why you should get another opinion: In conversation with BlogCastFM’s Srini Rao. In this podcast, Srini Rao from BlogCastFM and I got philosophical about ambition, and nitty gritty on producing and launching.

Inhale suffering, exhale compassion. A meditation. Breathe in suffering — yours, others, the world’s. Breathe out compassion — for yourself, for others, for the world.

Just be the global YOU … a note on comparison. We must have the daring to be nothing but ourselves if we are to know what true power is.

Courage breathes deep whole breaths. Courage rolls up doubt and smokes it.

Allowing for what you want & deepening desire: In conversation with Eric Handler of PositivelyPositive.com. In this LiveStream event on Facebook, we touched on: How can you tell if it’s time to let go of a goal? Can you “convince” your partner to make internally-driven goals instead of focusing “out there”?

The whole effing gorgeous point of desire mapping (and how I slipped off my own track). Constant racing for success creates habitual and unconscious goal-setting. We need to re-learn how to move toward our dreams — with the grace of trust, the grit of devotion, and the thrill of true presence.
