Patti is one of the reasons I summoned up the courage to write my book. When I first came across '37 Days' I realised that I didn't have to worry about the publishing industry, I didn't even need to think about it. I only needed to write a book that I believed was worth reading.

"Until we are ready and able to grant the same level of specificity to others as we grant ourselves, there is no dignity" Patti's whole definition of dignity is very powerful. I have always held "dignity" and "relationship" as equally sacred and....separate. I have to say this is really important food for thought and makes so much sense and holds so much promise for humanity.

This is beautiful, and deep, and profound, as are all her writings....but, it's that last sentence that's going into my collection of quotes. That one, right there, is a keeper.
