I have come to recognize that I really am disconnected from my feelings… Ugh.
How can I begin to get clear on what I want to feel the most if I’m starting with a “feelings-handicap”?
This is the best place to begin.
Firstly, you’re not alone.
So many of us, to varying degrees, are struggling with getting in touch with our feelings. Becoming aware of how you truly feel — and truly want to feel — is the journey of becoming more conscious. It’s a very big deal. Like, cosmically grand.
I don’t want to make it sound like getting in touch with your feelings is a monumental process (because it can be very easy when we’re ready.) I just want to make the point that this is a universal human, spiritual process and we’re all doing it.
This is a great time to quote Ram Dass:
“We are not human beings having a spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings having a human experience.”
