Goals seem masculine. Core Desired Feelings seem feminine. How do we integrate the two?
I love this question, because I’m fascinated by the different energies that we call masculine and feminine. (And one of my own core desired feelings is “divine feminine,” so I’m particularly fascinated.) Women and men run both energies, and need both the feminine and the masculine to be whole.
Once you have clarity on how you really want to feel (this is your connection to your feminine energy), then I think the masculine energy needs to kick in for you to strategize and execute.
At the risk of over-simplifying it: Feminine-sourced clarity comes first. Then we access our masculine energy to see how things might take form.
When I meditate, I feel close to my divine feminine. When I dance, when I make an omelet for my son, when I’m listening — really listening, to what someone I love is saying — I am being in the feminine.
But when I sit down to figure out the best way to market something, or I pick up the phone to call my accountant, or I’m fighting for some policy change, then I’m definitely wielding my masculine energy to get stuff done. I love the undulation of both energies in a day. And, very personally speaking, I’m on a path to reveal more and more of my feminine power to myself and the world.
The fine point: Using your heart & core desired feelings to shape your intentions + acting on those intentions with an engaged intellect = the marriage of the feminine and masculine.
