I have felt the same way. It's time to unwind, tidy things up a bit, do a few things I've procrastinated on so I don't have to carry the weight of them into 2010. It's time to celebrate and enjoy life! 2010 will be in full swing before we know it and more do, do, do to happen! You had me lol with the baby pictures!

I really enjoyed this post, because it captures exactly what I am feeling in this moment. There is such great energy around getting things done and moving so fast that sometimes wonder how we got where we are. But, in the same, the energy that is calling me right now is the one of being in the moment, and enjoying those moments that truly connect us to the essence of spirit and peace. Peace to you, Sista!

Here's a glass raised to savouring the peace that comes from knowing it'll all happen when it's meant to happen, no matter what we do or don't do.

I love tying up loose ends in December, too, and drawing all my world closer to me,stoking the spiritual fires so that I have soul-fuel to keep me going throughout new creative phases, idea amputations and and revamps.

I've been away recuperating for a while and come back to find you're a TV star and straight-haired. What a whirlwind world! I loved this bit in a previous post:

5. Present yourself as…You. You can fake qualified here 'n there, but you cannot fake passion, essence or originality - and those are the exact qualities that fuel quantum leaps and barrier-obliteration.

Odd but true, peace came as I sat with a friend - in her mid 90s, my across the street neighbor - as she lay dying. In her home, where she wanted, but not quite as easy as she'd envisioned. I sat with her and told of her of the outside early arrival of spring, the trees dropping blossoms on the ground. We are walking on flowers I said to her and she knew me at last. I fell into her quietness, held her hand, knew she was ready, had been watching her prepare for a couple years, spent my evenings visiting, learnng the ways of her house, of her life. I wrote it all, I blogged it daily, that slow losing of a friend, and when at last the end came I exhaled for the both of us. A Sunday morning. Early. I walked on flowers when I came home.
