Charity voting + donations open for the book drive!

Playback: I had tea with Eckhart Tolle (watch the video of that story.) Which inspired me to give my book away to good causes. I told my publisher, Crown, and they said, “We’re in for 300 books!.” I topped it up with 100 copies. Last week, charities entered to be in the donation line up.

We received requests from women’s prisons, mental health groups, half-way houses, youth groups, non-profits helping abused women get back on their feet — from Wisconsin to Kenya. I needed a box of tissue while sorting through them all. Now…

1. You can vote on 3 CHARITIES/PROJECTS that you would most like to receive the books they requested.

Some charities want 10 copies, some want a 100. We’ll distribute books according to a ratio of votes. Many charities just asked for a few copies, so we obliged! At the end of this post are the charities that have FIRE STARTER coming to them for their libraries. This gives us much joy.

2. You can add to the DONATION STASH! If you’d like to gift a book(s) to these charities, we can make that happen at wholesale. ($13.20 + ship.) If you want to gift books to a charity that you love and is not on this list, let us know and we’ll make THAT happen.
