~ that I was right to be so inspired by president Obama
~ that folk will see the sense of getting rid of huge gas guzzling cars
~ that our kids will be better stewards of the planet than we've been

What a great concept! I'd like to borrow it, and use it with my middle school students in the fall. It would also a great exercise to perform with advanced Spanish students. Always a teacher; always thinking. :)

Anyhoo...

I hope it's true that:
: there is a Heaven, as well as a Hell
: President Obama can have a successful first term
: Michael Jackson's children can grow up to be emotionally healthy people and productive contributors to society.
:my parents will enjoy their remaining years on Earth.
:the economy can improve.
:we can raise future generations of children free of all of the nasty, ugly -isms so many of us were raised to believe and embrace.
:this year's graduating class from my place of employ will find peace and prosperity.

: pensions and social security will still be around when people need them.
: sitings of the Virgin Mary are really sitings of THE Virgin Mary.
: Michael Jackson didn't do it.
: Jim Morrison is still alive, and Leonard Cohen will keep touring.
: I can come back for another life if I choose to be an earthling again, or I can hang out in a new dimension and just assist from the cosmic sidelines.

-that my children will take what was right and good about their childhood and carry it forward
-that I will be mindful of the good in my life and pay it forward
-that love really does conquer all
-that good always wins
-that my face really will freeze that way if I do that just one more time because it would be so worth it!
