Imagine being excited by pretty much EVERYTHING that you’re up to in your life. You look at your schedule and think, “My life is soooo good. OBVIOUSLY.” You feel free, you feel empowered.
You want that, right? Then here’s the password to that spaciousness. One word: No.
I know. “No” can be difficult to deliver. But… step up and give it. You have to put yourself first. (And that’s not selfish. That’s powerful, wise, and respectful.)
I know you’re worried about letting people down, I know you don’t want to look like a beehatch, I know you don’t want to miss out on opportunities. I know you want to do the right thing. The right thing when you’re feeling compromised, or over-obligated is, No, Thank You.
