Q: What does it mean to you to be a Desire Map Facilitator?

It means congruence, coherence, walking the talk, getting out there and being who I really am. Build the future for my new career, seed, learn, drop the fears, do what it takes, connect, help, be of service, helping to open consciences and making this a better place for my children, a higher vibrating place. It means creating the circumstances to be able to feel my CDFs. It means growing my self-confidence and believing that I can and will and am.

Q: What was the moment you knew you’d chosen the right path to become a Desire Map Facilitator?

During my second workshop. The first one I was stiff and too preoccupied to follow the structure. Too much brain! But at my second workshop, I felt it. I connected with the intention of being of service and helpful, and everything flowed in an atmosphere of love, sisterhood, and discovery. The place also helped — it was magical, and I realized that I was feeling exactly how I wanted while helping others find their own light. I just knew: “This is it! You are on the correct path.”

Q: Where were you, in life or business, before you become a Desire Map facilitator?

In 2014, I was stuck. Then The Desire Map book came into my hands and gave me some light. It taught me the importance of leading my life with my Core Desired Feelings as a compass, but I was still uncertain on where to start. I was following Danielle in all her social media when she started playing with the idea to license the workshops and I thought, “This is exactly the kind of platform I’m looking for to start entering my new profession!” So I didn’t hesitate to become a facilitator.

Since October 2015, I’ve led ten workshops between my hometown, Querétaro, and Mexico City, and I am planning on having at least six more before the end of 2016. Hosting a workshop takes effort, organization, tolerance to frustration, energy, time, patience…but it has been worth everything!

Q: You recently hosted a retreat in Mexico for both women and men! Can you share a bit about how that went?

While The Desire Map seems to be a book that resonates mostly with women, six of my ten workshops have had a masculine presence. Even though the proportion is still 80% women and 20% men, it’s been a nice surprise to find out that there are many men waking up to their feminine energy and learning how to listen to their heart. The energy in the workshop is more balanced, and I think they bring interesting points of view to the table. I love being able to help them open their hearts so they can live a more fulfilling life. We all deserve it, and there won’t be a balance in the world until they can touch their feelings, too. I am grateful for the opportunity.

Testimonials from workshop attendees

“When I arrived at the workshop, I thought it was going to be very complicated for me to put order in my emotions. I thought it was something that it would take me a very long time, but that wasn’t the case! It turned out to be really easy! Once you’re clear about how you want to feel in life, the rest is a piece of cake. Sandy shared a tool that helped me land what I had flying all over my mind: my dreams. Now I can say confidently that dreams are not to be dreamed, but to be made a reality.”

Gilberto O

“In the three-day workshop that Sandy led, I learned to know myself. I found things I had no idea about, or did not know how to explain. And I learned to be clear about what I want to accomplish, because even I didn’t know. I learned to let go, to prioritize, and to give structure without building up stress. I feel rejuvenated — like I just jumped one year forward in my personal process. I feel very excited and inspired. It was very healing!”

Mariela S.

“Sandy’s sensitivity and attention to detail made the process easy and successful for the entire group. Her guidance, warmth, and respect for all of us created the experience we each needed. I thank her for helping me in the discovery of my desires.”
