Conversation Starters: A Desire Map App

Download Now or, We’ll text you the link:

Every time you truly connect with someone in conversation, your consciousness expands - your potential, your insight, your energy to attract what you want and to get things done.

So here’s an expansion tool for all of us: Conversation Starters: A Desire Map App. It has 134 profound questions designed to encourage meaningful conversations. Conversations with your own heart, your partner, your work team, your best friend or a group of friends -- maybe, even with a stranger. Ask the questions at your favorite cafe, gathered in your living room, at your next lunch meeting, on retreat, on your power walks, in your journal. Ask them on the phone, or in person, like you would with a book club, or a support group, or the person you most want to share your ideas, feelings, and opinions with.

The app also comes with 13 of my inspiration audios. Mini radio D!

Our Mobile Development

Lindsey builds our beautiful apps, solid as a rock. In her own words…

“A successful app requires as little as possible of its user, preferably nothing, and gives back surprise and delight in unexpected quantities. To this end, we brush away the distraction of settings, gratuitous navigation, form fields and decision points until all we’re left with is value, a gift to the user unadulterated and minimally adorned. For this particular project, it also felt important to communicate form and function in parallel: just as the Conversation Cards themselves cut right to the chase, the app does, too.”

Testimonials

avatar

I’m introverted and highly sensitive, so groups of any kind tend to zap my energy. However, this event was different. I left feeling overflowing with love, connection, gratitude and wonder. I felt more myself than I have in a long time. And this feeling reverberated into the days and weeks that have passed since. I find myself thinking of our conversations, remembering the vulnerability, the candor, the laughter and the tears. And I smile. Seeing such a broad display of feeling in one sitting is a privilege. A true privilege.

There’s always someone who thinks they’re the only one (going through a particular thing), and it’s beautiful to watch that disappear as one or more person says, “Me too!” It’s an incredibly healing force. I left the conversation gathering even more in love with women, our intricacies, individuality, courage and beauty. So damn good.

…the questions opened up a conversation at the dinner table that had my 6 year old ask for forgiveness about something he’d been holding onto and I asked for forgiveness in return … What? Seriously? From an app? Yep. Because that’s how Danielle creates, she somehow manages to infuse intimacy and heart into the most accessible of mediums.

How did it feel to be part of an all-woman conversation group?

I think we live in a culture where sisterhood isn’t fully valued and appreciated. We are taught to compete and tear down – and, this all-woman conversation was so NOT about that. It was an opportunity to step in as equals, sharing our views, ideas, and experiences with love and without judgment. I could’ve been a part of that conversation all night long

Is there anything that’s better than women in conversation together? I felt immediately seen and known (even though most of us had never met before), instantly accepted, and completely ‘home’.

I’m a healer, teacher and coach, so these are exactly the kinds of conversations that light me up! When we gather in groups to share the pathways to the core of our desires, every member of the group is moved deeply into their personal evolution.

I left the event with a whole new set of friends. Sharing your feelings in groups like this relieves you of having to keep it all inside – it’s liberating. Plus, the world seems like a better place when you know there are other people on the same journey as you.

My conversation group felt safe, warm and exciting. There’s a certain vibe you get when it’s only women, an instant openness and vulnerability in an atmosphere of support and positivity. When it happens, it’s magic. That’s what the evening was.

Women getting together for meaningful conversation provides an intimacy we yearn for… We are able to know ourselves and each other more intimately, which allows us to feel seen and know how we can better love and support each other along our journey. I experienced deep connection and felt divinely feminine, which are two of my core desired feelings.

So often women are encouraged to compete against each other, but talking about the Desire Map and core desired feelings felt collaborative and supportive. Seeing other women own what they want motivates me to stay firm in owning my desires. It also provides social validation so I don’t feel like I’m the crazy one bucking society.

It’s so important to get together to talk about what it means to live fully. And realize that ‘living fully’ means completely different things to each of us. I desire peace, you desire adventure. I desire strength, you desire tenderness. Supporting each other instead of judging each other, and knowing that despite (or because of!) our differences, none of us is alone.

The amazing thing about being part of an all-woman conversation group was the way we slowly began to open up to each other and the incredible way that intimacy was formed in a matter of hours, [because we came] ready and willing to be seen.

It’s important for us to get together for meaningful conversations so that we’ll stay on track. For instance, I realized that I was not ‘on top’ of my CDF’s. Some distractions in my life had taken me off course and I was not as grounded and focused. The event was a reminder to stay with them, stay with the daily planner and the journaling. Individual work has its place, but group dynamics help also: listening to others, getting feedback, exchanging ideas. Sharing is good.

In a world where women are often trying to look good to other women and create a superficial sheen, this turned into a gathering where women seemed very comfortable to be exactly who they are – no pretenses needed. Being in a group like this where there is no (or minimal) small talk, and we get to the heart of what really matters – is remarkable. I was very moved, felt connected to something bigger than myself, and couldn’t sleep afterwards!

At our conversation gathering, I felt seen and heard. It’s very precious to me to be in a group where I am encouraged to share honestly about my feelings and desires. There are not many groups like that out there… That’s why I always say Yes! to any Desire Map gathering.

I loved being part of an all-woman conversation group. I believe that intimate connection is one of the things we crave most as human beings. Intimate connection, to speak up and be vulnerable, to be understood, to matter, to be heard.

Sheila Viers

I was amazed by how at ease we were together right away, since many of us didn’t personally know each other until that evening. There was something very magical about the energy. The days and weeks after have unveiled miracles in my life and business. That’s the power of Desire Mapping!

I felt safe and supported to be part of an all-woman conversation group. When you get a group of people together that are actively focused on improving their life experience, it’s an extremely powerful reminder of who you truly are. You can feel the positive energy pulsating within the group and that just feels really good.

(In our conversation group), walls that might have otherwise been present in a room full of new people were dissolved and the connection was almost immediate. By sharing your story and witnessing others, you open the door for deeper growth, healing and transformation – more than what might be accessible when working alone.

These gatherings are a space where you find that you are not alone, that you are not unique in your pain or struggle, that there are others who have experienced or are experiencing similar things, and where you get to be wrapped in a blanket of support and understanding by people willing to stand for you being your best self.

Life is filled with a lot of noise, and meaningful conversation cuts through that noise and gets us in touch with what really matters. Being among women is nourishing and feels like coming home.
