I’m passionate about birth wellness—all stages, all options. Creating an educational program on conscious birth has been on my to-do list, but now that Schuyler Grant has created Empowered Birth, I can chill. This is a beautiful offering that the world will be better for.
Our whole lives are relationships. Belly laughs—the ones you remember years afterwards when you're driving down a quiet road by yourself or comparing your dim day to the shine of your past—those belly laughs only happen with friends.
You will have more to give—and you will LOVE giving it. You will seek to give. It will be the most incredible feeling. Someone is going to come to you with a broken wing, or low on reserves and you are going to have so much love and insight to offer them.
We’ve all been hurt. Screwed over. Taken for granted. Unseen. And once we untangle our hearts and egos from those painful interactions, sometimes we can still manage to send someone positive vibes.Harm done, but okay. Everyone did their best. Onward. I wish them well. And even though you’d never commune or collaborate with that person ever again, you really mean it...

Yoga isn’t going to make you impervious to criticism — because criticism bites. Meditation doesn’t make divorce less brutal — because divorce is rough no matter how it goes down. Green juice won’t keep the creep at work away — creeps like to creep. And prayer will not make your illness less intense to deal with — physical burdens are…burdensome.
How can you thank another human for that Holy showing? Your life is beyond words. But now that you are stronger, reach deep into the natural order of things and with your hewn respect thank them for their own exquisite suffering.
May our suffering transform into liberating strength, and our despair into an incredible beauty that carries us to joy over and over again. And with deepest humility and respect for each person’s path I say: May these words save lives, and may those lives be well lived and wildly loved.
I am examining where in my life I can be more impeccable in linking desire to deed. CARE-FULL. I am making space to breathe more deliberately. These times call for deep breathing so you can hitch your passion to mindful action. So breathe.
